SGCRMo1 Copper coated, 1.25% Cr, 0.5% Mo, low alloy Wire for GMAW

SGCRMo1 Copper coated, 1.25% Cr, 0.5% Mo, low alloy Wire for GMAW

SGCRMo1 is a Copper coated, 1,25% Cr/0,50% Mo alloyed solid wire, used for GMAW of elevated temperatures heat resisting steels, up to 550° C, and corrosive service.
Suitable also for surfacing on casting and for casting repairs.
Suitable for heat resisting steels, such as A335-P11 or casting with same composition.
Suitable for joining dissimilar combinations of Cr-Mo and carbon steel.
Careful control of preheat, interpass temperatures and postheat, is essential to avoid cracking. (This wire is classified after post weld heat treatment.)
Typical Applications: Vessels, Boilers fabrication, Chemical and petrochemical industry, power plant, Pipes fabrication.
Shielding Gas Ar/CO2 Mix or CO2.
Available in diam. 1.0, 1.2 mm. In 15 kgs steel spool, with precision winding
