ALLOY 622 Tig Welding Rods Filler Metal
Filler Metal 622 is used for Tig (gas-tungsten-arc) and Mig (gas-metal-arc) welding of alloys 22 and 625, alloy 25-6MO, and alloy 825. This is also an excellent dissimilar metal welding product that offers protection against preferential weld metal corrosion when used for joining molybdenum-containing stainless steels, alloy C-276, and alloy 625. The high chromium content, along with the tungsten and molybdenum, give good resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. Filler Metal 622 is useful for many dissimilar joints involving INCONEL® and INCOLOY® alloys, and carbon, low-alloy and stainless steels. Submerged arc welding and overlaying can be done with suitable submerged arc flux.Filler metals available on spool and in cut straight lengths in a variety of sizes and diameters.
