SIDERINOX 308/LC (E308L-17 Rutile Welding Elettrode)

SIDERINOX 308/LC (E308L-17 Rutile Welding Elettrode)

SIDERINOX 308/LC is an all position welding electrode designed to run on direct current, reversed polarity as well as alternating current.
The weld deposit contains a maximum of.04% carbon, which minimizes the formation of chromium carbides, and consequently reduces the possibility of intergranular carbide precipitation and increases the resistance to intergranular corrosion.
This electrode is used to weld base metal of similar composition such as AISI 301, 302, 304, 304L, 305, 308, 308L and 321 and 347 if the working temperature is lower of 260° C.
APPLICATIONS: This electrode´s characteristics make Siderinox 308/308L the smart choice for nuclear and general structural welding as well as for food, pharmaceutical, brewery equipment and piping, vessels and equipments for low temperature applications.
This electrode is suitable for working temperature from -196°C to +350°C.

Supplied in diameters: 2.0 - 2.5 - 3.25 - 4.0 mm.
