Fe SGCrMo2, 2,25% Cr-1% Mo low alloy Rods for GTAW of Cr/Mo steel

Fe SGCrMo2, low alloy Rods for GTAW of 2,25% Cr-1% Mo creep resistant steels which are used for high temperature service.
Suitable for root pass on pipe welding.
It´s mandatory to use inert backing gas to avoid crome oxidation.
A preheat and interpass temperature of not less than 185° C should be maintained during welding, to avoid cracks.
Applications: Vessels, Boilers fabrication, Chemical and Petrochemical industry, Piping fabrication.
Shielding Gas: 100% Ar
Available in 2.4 mm. diam and 1000 mm. cut length rods embossed on each end for ease of alloy identification even after the rod is partially consumed, and in 5 kgs pacs.
