ALLOY G-30 Welding Electrode

ALLOY G-30 Welding Electrode

Alloy G-30 Welding Electrode is used for welding the G-30® alloy.
This electrode has many applications in phosphoric, sulfuric and nitric acid production, as well as, pulp and paper fabrications.
Alloy G-30 welding electrode is considered an overmatching filler metal for the 6-7 molybdenum bearing stainless steel grades and also the duplex grades including 2507

The electrodes provide excellent operability for groove and fillet welding in the downhand position.
Power supply: direct current, electrode positive.

Typical Welding Current:
Ø 2.4 A 40-65 -- Ø 3.2 A 65-90 -- Ø 4 A 90-125 -- Ø 5 A 125-160

Typical Mechanical Properties:
Tensile Strength: MPa 585 (psi 85,000)
Elongation, (4d) 25%

Welding Electrodes are available in a variety of diameters: from 2.4 to 5 mm.
