SIDERINOX 308LB (E308L-15 Basic Welding Elettrode)

SIDERINOX 308LB (E308L-15 Basic Welding Elettrode)

SIDERINOX 308LB is an all position welding electrode designed to run on direct current, reversed polarity only.
The weld deposit contains a maximum of.04% carbon, which minimizes the formation of chromium carbides, and consequently reduces the possibility of intergranular carbide precipitation and increases the resistance to intergranular corrosion.
This electrode is used to weld base metal of similar composition such as AISI 301, 302, 304, 304L, 305, 308, 308L and 321 and 347 if the working temperature is lower of 260° C.
APPLICATIONS: This electrode´s characteristics make Siderinox 308/308L the smart choice for nuclear and general structural welding as well as for food, pharmaceutical and brewery equipment applications and piping, vessels and equipments for low temperature applications.
This electrode is suitable for working temperature from -196° C to +350° C.

Supplied in diameters: 2.0, 2.5, 3.25, 4.0 mm.
