SIDER 350 Hardfacing Copper coated Mig wire

SIDER 350 Copper coated MIG wire for medium hard, wear resistant surfacing exposed to high temperature, impact and abrasion, good corrosion resistance to sulfuric fluid and good resistance to crack formation

Application:
SIDER 350 Hardfacing Copper coated Mig wire is suited for MAG buildups on structural parts subject to compression, impact and abrasion, such as caterpillar track components, machine and gear parts, stamps, roller casters, augers, crushers, baffle plates, and cutting tools.
Machinable by grinding.
Welding Instruction:
Clean welding area thoroughly.
Preheating 200°C. Post heating treatment: 1h at 660°C.
Preheat tool steels to 350 - 400° C.
Shielding gas : 75% Argon/25% CO2 or 100% CO2 - 18·20 lit/min

Hardness of the pure weld metal: 36·40 HRC
Weld metal analysis in % C 0.10 max, Si 0.6, Mn 0.7, Cr 6, Mo 0.6

Available in diam.: 1.2 mm; on spools of 15 kg.
